Hope Builders 30th Anniversary Sponsorship

Hope Builders is a Santa Ana success story, a job training program that has changed the lives of 7,000 students who have graduated and advanced to careers in construction or healthcare during its three decades of existence. Related California has been a proud Hope Builders sponsor through the years and recently supported the organization's 30th Anniversary fundraising luncheon at its headquarters and primary training facility near downtown Santa Ana. The majority of program trainees are young adults in the greater Santa Ana area from challenged or troubled backgrounds. Beyond learning specific job skills, students are taught lessons about professionalism in the workplace, including the importance of punctuality, appearance and personal conduct. More than 95% of the graduates are hired upon completion of training and 80%, on average, are still working a year later.
